Certification maintenance is mandatory while the product remains for sale either by the manufacturer or by its supplier in the Brazilian territory.
Maintenance evaluations must take place as specified below:
Laboratory tests for the products under categories I, II and III will be defined at the time when maintenance is performed by considering the changes that might have gone through the product or upon ANATEL's regulation.
If technical compliance is required at the initial certification in relation to Resolution 529 (Electrical Safety), the tests shall be repeated during maintenance.
The applicant needs to provide IBRACE with all requested documents (test reports, certificate, photographs, manual, etc.) considering the latest product certification before transfer.
Based on these documents, the required documents are specified for OCD transfer. If no test is required, the certificate is issued at once.
